Job description

In a non-banking financial organization, the role of a Credit Risk Manager is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of individuals, companies, or other entities that apply for credit. Their main role is to evaluate the financial stability and the risk associated with loans to these entities.

Responsibility

·         Monitoring the loan portfolio to mitigate the risk of default and to maintain loan quality: check the progress and status of the loans in the company's portfolio, especially the files with derogations that need to be monitored periodically, including compliance with payment deadlines and repayment conditions;

·         Risk analysis and assessment: assess the risks associated with loans, monitor performance indicators (e.g., default rates), and identify clients with the potential for delay or default;

·         Maintaining communication with clients: contact clients to discuss any potential payment issues and to identify repayment solutions in case of financial difficulties;

·         Preparing periodic reports: provide internal reports about the state of the loan portfolio, performance indicators, and default rates to the management to support strategic decisions;

·         Collaborating with other departments: work closely with risk, compliance, and legal departments to ensure all actions are in line with internal policies and current regulations.

Obligations

  • Higher education in relevant fields (economic/financial);

  • Professional experience of at least 2-5 years in the field of lending;

  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk, and risk monitoring;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and Russian, knowledge of English is an advantage;

  • Good skills in using MS Office applications;

  • Responsible, meticulous person oriented towards results.
