NATIONAL FINANCIAL MARKET COMMISSION

Announces competition for the vacant position

from the Collective Investment and Crowdfunding Department

- Expert consultant (indefinite period)

Responsibility

Main tasks:

- Carrying out activities regarding the development of the regulatory framework for participatory financing and collective investment services (voluntary pension funds, collective investment schemes), as well as ensuring its adequate implementation;

- Examination of issues related to the activity of providers of participatory financing services, voluntary pension funds and collective investment undertakings (authorization, licensing), supervision of the activity of authorized entities;

- Ensuring cooperation with public authorities, examining and drafting opinions on draft normative acts and other policy documents submitted to the regulator;

- Ensuring compliance, transparency and safety of the activity of providers of participatory financing services, pension funds and collective investment undertakings, as well as protecting the rights of investors and beneficiaries of financial services on the capital market.

Obligations

Minimum mandatory requirements:

- Completed higher education, master's degree (or at least 3 years of experience in case of bachelor's degree) in the financial, economic or legal field;

- Postgraduate studies, other qualifications in the field - will be an advantage;

- Professional experience in the fields of capital markets, voluntary pension funds, crowdfunding platforms or other relevant fields (minimum 3 years);

- Professional experience in the field of normative creation will be an advantage;

- Knowledge – sectoral legislation related to collective investments, crowdfunding services and the capital market, regulatory acts of the NCFM;

- User-level computer knowledge and advanced knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Fluent knowledge of Romanian, knowledge of English, at least intermediate level;

Behavioral skills:

- punctuality, individual organizational/planning capacity, ability to meet deadlines;

- analytical spirit and critical thinking;

- ability to synthesize and write reports;

- availability for business travel (as applicable).
