Consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences;
Planning and designing outdoor spaces, including gardens, parks, recreational areas, etc.;
Creating landscape plans and sketches, including placement of plants, water features, walkways, etc.;
Developing irrigation and lighting plans for outdoor spaces.
Coordinating with other design or construction teams to ensure proper implementation of the design;
Overseeing and managing construction work to ensure the project is completed according to specifications;
Providing ongoing consultancy to clients for the maintenance and management of landscapes after the project completion.
Education or training in landscape design;
Technical knowledge in garden design, plants, and building materials;
Skills in landscape design software;
Ability to work in a team and manage projects.
