Preparing beverages to high standards (espresso, cappuccino, latte, special drinks, etc.), using professional equipment and following specific recipes.
Preparing drink semi-finished products
Ensuring timely readiness and checking of dishes for coffee preparation
Monitoring the stock of products for the bar and disposable dishware for coffee
Informing customers about the various types of coffee available, their origin, and the different beverage options (for example, lactose-free or vegan alternatives)
Providing friendly and professional service, recommending drinks based on customer preferences, and creating a pleasant atmosphere in the cafe.
Regularly checking and cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance and drink quality.
Closely collaborating with other team members (cashiers, cooks, serving staff) to provide a complete and seamless experience for customers.
Previous experience as a barista in a coffee shop, restaurant, or similar location.
Knowledge of the coffee preparation process (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) is essential.
Familiarity with espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other professional beverage preparation equipment.
Adherence to hygiene standards in handling products and cleaning equipment.
Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in cashier or customer service roles.
The ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
The ability to remain calm and attentive to detail, especially during peak times, to ensure drink quality and customer satisfaction.
The ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously, without compromising drink quality or customer experience.
