Managing the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for furniture production, ensuring that all purchases are made on time and in accordance with quality standards.
Coordinating imports from countries such as Romania, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, etc., including negotiations with suppliers and monitoring the delivery process to ensure deadlines are met.
Developing and maintaining relationships with current suppliers, assessing their performance in terms of quality, cost, and reliability.
Searching for and evaluating new suppliers and alternatives for raw materials and supplies, with the aim of optimizing costs and ensuring continuity in production.
Analyzing market trends and monitoring price fluctuations to identify opportunities for savings and cost reduction.
Working closely with the production and design departments to understand specific needs and ensure the procurement of materials that meet project requirements.
Relevant experience in procurement, preferably within the furniture industry, for at least 2 years.
Strong knowledge of import processes and related customs legislation.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
The ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Proficiency in Romanian and a foreign language (English, Russian, etc.) is an advantage.
Computer skills, including procurement management-specific software.
