We are constantly growing, evolving, and planning to expand our sales to Amazon in Europe, Australia, and South America. We are currently seeking a junior sourcing manager who we hope will become an integral part of our effective team in the future.
Correspondence with suppliers of goods in China on platforms like Alibaba, 1688
Gathering necessary information, organizing it into a structured form
Analysis of the collected data and presenting it for decision-making on supplier/product selection
Filling out corresponding reports using existing templates
Creating orders for suppliers based on existing templates
Monitoring and reminding suppliers of order terms, requesting photo/video confirmations
Analyzing competitor's products on Amazon
Expectations from the candidate:
Proficient computer skills
Stable high-speed internet
Basic knowledge of English for correspondence with suppliers, ability to use online translators like Google Translate, Reverso, etc.
Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel at the level of creating and using simple spreadsheets, formulas, and functions
Clear and comprehensible presentation of information
Self-discipline and ability to plan and organize one's working time
Eagerness to learn
Punctuality, attention to detail, communicativeness, meticulousness
