The Red Cross Society of Moldova (hereinafter referred to as RCSM) is a public association that, in conjunction with public administration authorities, carries out auxiliary functions in the humanitarian field based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their Additional Protocols of 1977. The mission of the Red Cross Society of Moldova is to prevent and alleviate human suffering and to protect human dignity, with no discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religious beliefs, or political opinions.
Currently, RCSM is in a period of intense development and, thanks to our partners, we are involved in several humanitarian projects. In order to carry out these projects, we are seeking skilled professionals in the field.
Planning and coordinating a project/program and its activities;
Ensuring the implementation of policies and practices in day-to-day operations;
Monitoring budget execution and tracking expenses/transactions;
Supporting the planning and coordination of programs/projects and their activities;
Ensuring the implementation of policies and practices;
Managing communications through relations with media, social media, etc.;
Helping to build positive relationships within the team and with external parties;
Maintaining records, updating them, creating reports, and forwarding proposals;
Proposing ideas for the development of programs/projects.
University degree in a relevant field;
Experience in a leadership role within a program/project will be considered an advantage;
Minimum of 2 years experience as a program/project coordinator or in a relevant position;
Knowledge of program development and management procedures;
Skills to assist in planning and organizing programs/projects and activities;
Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and reporting;
Proficient in MS Office;
Verbal and written communication skills in English/Romanian/Russian.
