The Moldovan Red Cross Society (hereafter MRCS) is a public association that, in coordination with public administration authorities, performs auxiliary functions in the humanitarian field based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their Additional Protocols of 1977. The mission of the Moldovan Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering and to protect human dignity, without any discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religious beliefs, or political opinions.
Currently, the MRCS is in a period of intense development and, thanks to the partners of the Society, we are involved in several humanitarian projects. With the aim of implementing these projects, we are in search of professional individuals in the field.
Coordinating planned activities in ongoing projects implemented by the Red Cross;
Overseeing the daily progress of coordinated projects and monitoring the fulfillment of budgets and subsidiary activities involved in the project;
Participating in meetings organized by the Red Cross relevant to the coordinated projects and in Red Cross staff meetings;
Attending events relevant to the coordinated projects, organized within the Red Cross, as well as by Red Cross branches;
Coordinating logistic and financial activities related to the implementation of coordinated projects;
Preparing activity and financial reports within the coordinated projects;
Representing the Red Cross at events/activities delegated by the Red Cross president.
Relevant higher education;
Experience in international project work will be an advantage;
Communication and official oral and written presentation skills;
Advanced knowledge of Romanian, Russian, and English;
Skills in administrative and financial management of development projects, and cooperation with project donors, government officials, NGOs, and media;
High proficiency in PC operation (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, hours 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 30-minute meal break
