Job description

Our client, one of the largest producers and exporters of wines and spirits in the Republic of Moldova, has been promoting the art of respecting traditions and Moldovan quality wines for 30 years. The company owns over 200 hectares of European and local grape varieties, ensuring the highest quality raw materials, and has been repeatedly awarded for excellence in winemaking. In connection with business expansion, the company announces an open position for the role of Export Manager, Chișinău.

Responsibility

  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase wine sales in international markets;

  • Seeking and attracting new customers and partners abroad;

  • Negotiating with importers, distributors, and retail networks;

  • Analyzing foreign markets, including assessing competitors and customer needs;

  • Preparing and delivering presentations about the company's products;

  • Participating in international exhibitions, tastings, and other events to promote products;

  • Collaborating with marketing and production departments to optimize offerings and strategies;

  • Managing export documentation and complying with international trade norms and standards;

  • Monitoring and analyzing the efficiency of export operations;

  • Addressing customers' issues and queries.

Obligations

  • Higher education in marketing, international trade, or economics;

  • Experience in sales, preferably in the field of wine exports or food products;

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;

  • Knowledge of international commercial procedures and documents;

  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite;

  • Fluency in Romanian and Russian, and an advanced level of English (B1);

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;

  • Proactivity, results-orientation, and the ability to work in a team;

  • Interest in the wine industry and the desire to develop in this field.

Salary

  • Attractive salary, base 15-20,000 lei + percentage of sales (potential to impact income)
