The role of a cashier is to assist customers with their shopping experience in the store. This process involves processing payments, scanning purchased items, and bagging them, as well as calculating change.
Necessary job qualities and skills such as accuracy, reliability, and the ability to interact well with customers are essential. One must always be very attentive to the amounts received and the change given to the customer to avoid any potential dissatisfaction.
