Main responsibilities of the Senior Expert of the Continuous Supervision Directorate, Banking Supervision Department;
Facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience with the team members responsible for the bank;
Preparation of reports on the evaluation of banks' activities in accordance with the Supervision and Evaluation Methodology of banks’ activities;
Monitoring the risk profile of banks, including the supervision of credit risk by monitoring banks' portfolios;
Processing, monitoring, and analyzing information obtained from banks in the form of reports;
Assessing the financial situation of banks/the banking sector;
Reviewing and analyzing the reports of external audits conducted in banks;
Identifying and assessing the risks in the banks’ activities by tracking liquidity and deposit value based on the daily reports provided by the banks;
Evaluating the recovery plans submitted by banks;
Other duties according to the job description.
Studies and Experience:
Higher education completed with a Bachelor's degree in the field of economics with an overall average grade for the years of study of 8 or higher; If the overall grade average is less than 8, the condition is considered to be met if the candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector. For individuals with academic degrees obtained abroad, qualifications (e.g., GPA, etc.) acquired in the respective country and/or educational institutions will be indicated;
At least three years of experience in the financial-banking sector;
Knowledge of the banking supervision framework in the Republic of Moldova;
Analysis and synthesis skills based on a significant volume of data and information;
Fluent in Romanian and at least an intermediate level of English;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
