Moldcell Company, part of CG Corp Global, is seeking a highly experienced, business-driven, and strategically oriented Financial Controller for the new group business line: CG BYD Auto Europe HQ.
The role requires a strong financial leader capable of managing complex financial operations in a fast-growing environment. As CG Auto Europe continues its rapid expansion across the European region, we are looking for a seasoned professional who can drive financial excellence, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making at group level.
The role is based in the Republic of Moldova.
Report directly to the Group CFO and lead the finance team across accounting, financial reporting, treasury, risk & compliance, FP&A, and business development.
Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring timely, accurate internal reports, external submissions, tax filings, and audits.
Manage cash flow and treasury operations, including forecasting, banking relationships, and cost control initiatives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, providing insights to support strategic decisions.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and group financial standards.
Oversee risk management, internal controls, and compliance investigations.
Provide strategic guidance and financial modelling support for new business development projects.
Manage corporate insurance policies and annual renewals.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, continuously improving efficiency, systems, and workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
8–10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within multinational corporations or startups; Big 4 audit background is an advantage.
Experience in the automobile industry, with strong financial analytical skills and hands-on expertise in price build-up for import and distribution operations.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial regulatory frameworks.
Excellent reporting capabilities — able to derive accurate data from functional teams and present clear, structured reports to the board, senior leadership, and investors.
Experience in the automotive or consumer retail sector preferred.
Strong analytical mindset with top-level problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and operate effectively under pressure.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and local language; Mandarin is an advantage.
Ability to interpret financial data and influence management decisions.
Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and work effectively across teams.
