Mercure Hotel is expanding its culinary team and is looking for a talented and organized Sous Chef to help create a high-level culinary experience for our guests. If you are passionate about cooking, have a sense of taste, are disciplined and want to work in a professional hotel environment – we want you on our team!

Responsibility

  • Supporting the Executive Chef in coordinating kitchen activity

  • Organizing workflow and distributing tasks within the team

  • Preparing dishes to high quality standards

  • Supervising cooking, plating and serving processes

  • Stock management, product reception and inventory

  • Training and motivating kitchen staff

  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef

Obligations

  • Relevant experience in similar positions (Sous Chef / Chef de Partie)

  • Solid knowledge in culinary techniques and international gastronomy

  • Excellent organization and team coordination ability

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Hygiene, attention to detail and responsibility

  • Creativity in menu creation and modern presentations
