Technical support technician

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the organization and conduct of the competition for the selection of personnel for vacant positions at the IP "Public Audit Oversight Council", approved by Decision of the Audit Oversight Committee No. 44 of December 22, 2025, the IP "Public Audit Oversight Council" announces a competition for the vacant position of:

Computer Technical Support Technician (part-time)

General purpose of the function:

Ensuring the continuous, secure and efficient operation of the institution's IT systems, maintaining IT equipment and applying IT security measures.

· Providing technical assistance to users for hardware equipment and software applications;

· Solving IT support requests (by phone, online, at the office);

· Identifying and fixing operating errors in computer systems;

· Installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers, scanners and peripherals;

· Ensuring preventive maintenance of IT equipment;

· Participation in the reception and commissioning of new equipment;

· Installing and updating operating systems and applications;

· Managing software licenses and complying with their legalities;

· Applying IT security measures (antivirus, passwords, updates);

· Compliance with cybersecurity policies and personal data protection;

· Keeping records of IT equipment and technical interventions;

· Proposing measures to modernize the IT infrastructure.

The candidate must :

· has higher education in the field of information technologies;

· have at least 2 years of professional experience in the field;

· holds the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova;

· know English at a technical level;

· have knowledge of computer operation and maintenance;

· has full capacity to exercise;

· have no unexpired criminal record for crimes committed;

· not have reached the age required to obtain the right to an old-age pension;

· not have been convicted, by final court decision, for crimes committed and which have not been rehabilitated by law or through the courts.

The salary will be specified during the interview.

The competition file

· agreement regarding the processing of personal data;

· motivation letter;

· curriculum vitae;

· copy of the identity card;

· copy of higher education diploma/diplomas;

· document(s) confirming the activity carried out;

· affidavit regarding the absence of a criminal record (in case of promotion in the competition, presentation of the criminal record upon employment).

NOTE : Copies of the nominated documents may be authenticated by a notary or presented together with the original documents for verification of their veracity. If the competition file is submitted by post or e-mail, this provision applies on the date of the written test of the competition, under penalty of rejection of the competition file.

The deadline for submitting documents for participation in the competition is February 22, 2026.
