Job description

Our client is not a credit company with foreign capital that provides financing to individuals and entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova. It has been in the Moldovan market since 2003. We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Infrastructure Support to join our IT department. This role is key to ensuring the continuous operation, modernization, and security of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage IT resources, ensure high availability of services, and guarantee compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Responsibility

  • Manage the operation and functionality of IT equipment and software, including the computer network, Active Directory, VOIP, printers, and other technical equipment

  • Lead the infrastructure support division, ensuring the efficient operation of the team and the high quality of project execution

  • Develop and implement policies for security and access to information resources

  • Ensure the enforcement of disaster recovery and backup policies

  • Manage the IT department's budget in accordance with procurement procedures and the business plan

  • Train users in the operation of computer systems and installed software

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of software and hardware inventories

  • Monitor the operation of automated backup and video surveillance processes

  • Interact with IT suppliers and contractors to meet hardware and software needs

  • Monitor and improve IT services related to employee information systems

  • Participate in the audit process and provide the necessary information within one's expertise

  • Conduct and organize annual inventories of company assets

  • Ensure compliance with IT regulations, business continuity rules, and company-level procedures

  • Actively participate in the recruitment and development of team members

  • Respond promptly to IT incidents, minimizing their consequences and informing relevant stakeholders

  • Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices applicable to infrastructure management

Obligations

  • Experience managing IT infrastructure teams in a corporate environment

  • Experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of IT security, disaster recovery planning, and backup methods

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and standards is an advantage

  • Experience in a similar position for 3+ years

  • Proactivity, flexibility, and responsibility in managing IT projects and teams
