IMSP, the Institute of Emergency Medicine, is seeking a specialist (imaging) physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail and precision, responsible for obtaining and analyzing medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the qualitative care of hospitalized patients, providing appropriate treatment and necessary investigations in accordance with established standards, achievements in medical science and technology, while respecting the healing and protective regimen.
Complying with national and institutional provisions in patient investigations and treatment;
Performing ultrasound investigations as clearly indicated by the treating physicians, establishing the necessary scope of the investigation.
Consulting with treating physicians regarding the possibilities of ultrasound in making diagnoses and its rational use in medical practice.
Acquiring and implementing new diagnostic methods, treatments, and new profile-specific devices into practice.
Participating in discussions about complex cases and diagnostic errors, identifying and analyzing discrepancies in information obtained during ultrasound investigations compared with the results of surgical operations or autopsies.
Preventing the exploitation of imaging equipment in physical-technical regimes that exceed the values specified in technical characteristics.
Immediately notifying the head of the medical imaging department and the management of the institution about any extraordinary incidents (electrocution, radiation exposure, fire, etc.), that occur in the imaging service.
Graduate of an accredited higher education institution in the medical field (residency, Radiology and Medical Imaging specialty;
At least 2 years of work experience in the field;
Knowledge of Romanian and Russian languages;
Availability for a flexible, rotating, and night shift work schedule;
The salary will be specified during the interview.
