Ensuring that medical teams are functioning efficiently and are well-coordinated;
Developing and implementing medical programs and services in line with the institutional population's needs;
Effectively managing the financial, human, and material resources allocated to the medical department.
Degree in Medicine and, preferably, specialization in a relevant field (e.g., internal medicine, emergency medicine, correctional medicine);
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, other members of the institutional team, and inmates (if applicable);
Solid knowledge of medical technologies and specific equipment required for providing medical care;
Proficiency in using information systems for managing medical data.
