MERCURE CHISINAU CENTER JAZZ HOTEL is hiring a RECEPTIONIST.
The receptionist is responsible for the first impression guests have when they enter the hotel.
Greets guests for accommodation, according to hotel standards, in a friendly and professional manner.
Collaborates with other departments: restaurant, housekeeping, sales department.
Informs guests upon their request regarding rates, prices, services and programs offered by the hotel (packages, promotions, discounts).
Prepares and records reservations in the hotel management system.
Collects the value of services provided to customers.
They are constantly informed about the actions and activities taking place in the hotel to inform tourists about the events taking place.
Promptly and discreetly resolves various particular situations or customer complaints and appeals hierarchically to ensure the most appropriate measures are taken.
Performs check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally, having all the necessary knowledge of these procedures.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Romanian and English, other languages are an advantage.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
