APIUS

The Light Industry Entrepreneurs Association (APIUS) is a unified community of local producers of garments, knitwear, leather goods, shoes, and accessories, focusing on the competitive development of the light industry by representing the needs of the private sector, state support, and the experiences of similar professional organizations.

Since 2012, the association has strengthened its capacity with the support of USAID, the Swedish government, UKAid, and CBI. Similarly, since 2014, APIUS has enhanced its cooperation and partnership with the Moldova Investment Agency, gaining access to more than 40 international exhibitions and fairs.

On November 6, 2016, the Republic of Moldova, represented by APIUS, became a member of the European Fashion Council (EFC).

Currently, APIUS members cover all segments of the light industry's activity: the segments of women's and men's clothing, children's clothing, underwear, footwear, leather goods, and accessories.
