Moldindconbank began its operations on July 1, 1959, as a branch of Stroibank from the USSR, with the primary task of financing industrial construction, energy enterprises, and transport mainlines. On October 25, 1991, according to the decision of the Constitutive Assembly, the bank was reorganized into the Commercial Bank for Industry and Construction BC "Moldindconbank" S.A. Currently, Moldindconbank has the largest network of branches in the Republic of Moldova, being present in all regions of the country and is considered one of the top employers with over 1600 employees.
