Effective as of 22.06.2026. Version of 17.06.2026.
Jobber may set or read cookies and device identifiers when You use the Jobber Platform or visit a website, application, or service that uses our Services.
This Cookie Policy (hereinafter — the "Cookie Policy") is an integral part of the Jobber Privacy Policy and must be read together with it.
An "Internet Cookie" (also known as a "browser cookie", "HTTP cookie", or simply "cookie") is a small file consisting of letters and numbers that is stored on the computer, mobile terminal, or other equipment of the user from which the Internet is accessed.
A cookie is set in response to a request from a web server sent to the browser (for example, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) and is entirely "passive" (it does not contain software, viruses, or spyware and cannot access information on the user's hard drive). A cookie stores certain information (for example, the preferred language or web page settings) that Your browser may transmit back to us upon re-accessing the web page (depending on the cookie's lifetime).
In and of themselves, cookies do not request personal information in order to be used and in most cases do not personally identify Internet users.
There are several types of cookies. They are classified according to their lifetime, role, and source:
a) By lifetime
Session cookies — temporary cookies that are stored in Your browser's cookie file until You leave the given website. These cookies are necessary for certain applications or functionality to operate correctly.
Persistent cookies — remain stored on Your hard drive until You delete them or the browser deletes them depending on the cookie's expiration date. All persistent cookies have an expiration date written into their code, but their duration may vary. These cookies are used, for example, to remember Your preferences on a website.
b) By role
Strictly necessary cookies — these cookies are essential to enable You to use the website and its functionality, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Without these cookies, the services You have requested (for example, Your user account) cannot be provided.
Functional cookies — these cookies allow the website to remember the choices You make (for example, your username, language, or region) and provide enhanced and more personalized functionality. The information collected by these cookies may be anonymized and cannot track Your browsing activity on other websites.
Performance and analytics cookies — these cookies collect information about how users use the website, for example, which pages are visited most often, whether users receive error messages. These cookies do not collect information that identifies the visitor. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and is therefore anonymous. They are used only to improve the operation of the website.
Targeting and advertising cookies — these cookies are used to provide You with more relevant content and advertising. They are also used to limit the number of times advertising is shown, as well as to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are usually placed by advertising networks with the permission of the website operator. They remember that You have visited a website, and this information is shared with other organizations, such as advertisers.
c) First-party cookie vs third-party cookie
First-party cookies are set by the website You visit and can be read only by that site. Third-party cookies are set by an organization other than the owner of the website You visit. For example, a website may use a third-party analytics service that will set its own cookie to perform this service.
d) Embedded content (buttons, applications, and social media widgets)
Some of our web pages may contain embedded content or use functionality provided by third parties, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps maps, or "Like" buttons from Facebook. This embedded content or these features may set cookies on behalf of the relevant third party. We do not control these cookies and their storage or access to them.
e) How do targeting and advertising cookies work?
Some of the cookies placed through our website are set by advertising networks to display to You advertising that is relevant to Your interests. Behavioral advertising (also called "behavioral targeting" or "interest-based advertising") is a way of delivering advertising on the websites You visit and making the advertising more relevant to Your interests.
The Jobber Platform uses strictly necessary cookies without consent to the extent that they are necessary for the functioning, security, and provision of the requested services. Analytics, non-essential functional cookies, as well as targeting and advertising cookies are used only after obtaining Your prior, explicit, and granular consent through the cookie management tool available on the Platform. You may withdraw Your consent at any time with the same ease with which it was given.
These cookies are necessary for the functioning of the Jobber Platform and do not require Your consent. These include:
Cookies for authentication and maintaining the User's session;
Cookies for protection against CSRF attacks and other security threats;
Cookies for interface settings and language preferences;
Cookies that ensure the functioning of forms and interactive elements.
Legal basis: art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in ensuring the functioning and security of the Platform.
