Your main missions will be:
- Plans and coordinates the activities of the accounting team and ensures compliance with deadlines;
- Ensure compliance with established deadlines and accuracy of data regarding monthly and annual closing financial statements;
- Monitors the team's key performance indicators monthly to ensure the quality percentage defined by the operational committee;
- Analyzes the team's results, prepares and proposes work strategies for team members for validation to the Accounting department manager;
- Anticipates possible variations in the volume of accounting activities and implements specific actions to resolve problems;
- Periodically performs quality checks and reports to the department manager in order to ensure a clear picture of the company's accounts;
- Maintains contact with the client and other services, ensures that the quality level is respected and deadlines are met, according to requests.
- Mediates difficulties or conflicts in the relationship with internal/external clients;
- Reports weekly to the department manager, ensuring the completion of activities;
- Monitors and reports the completion of annual financial statements within the established deadlines;
- Provides assistance, support and coaching on all operational issues arising in the team and ensures that the team members he coordinates reach their maximum potential;
- Participates in the recruitment and selection process; Plans and monitors the integration of new employees and is involved in the training process;
- Acts as a role model in promoting team cooperation and facilitates continuous learning.
- Effectively deals with team members, facilitates and mediates antagonistic, critical or ambiguous situations that arise;
- Supports the improvement of the operational team's performance and encourages the professional development of each collaborator;
- Acts and intervenes quickly and efficiently to resolve operational issues and overcome obstacles
And to succeed in this mission you will need:
- Higher education in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- Experience in a similar role as a team leader or accounting team manager for at least 1 year.
- Experience in the Financial field - Accountant in an operational role for at least 5 years
- Technical knowledge in Microsoft Office, Outlook Mail, 1C, SAP - advantage
