Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Personnel Management: Coordinating the recruitment and training process for bookstore associates, establishing work schedules, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislation.
Implementing staff motivation strategies, including training sessions and awarding performance-based bonuses.
Financial Management: Overseeing the cash register, managing the bookstore's funds, and ensuring timely submission of accounting documents to the finance department.
Planning and Sales: Developing and implementing action plans to achieve sales targets, managing the bookstore's online presence, and organizing promotional campaigns.
Bookstore Space Administration: Maintaining a tidy and functional environment in the bookstore, correct labeling of products, and keeping equipment in optimal condition.
Inventory Management: Monitoring and restocking inventory, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring efficient logistics.
Collaboration with Artists: Negotiating and finalizing contracts with artists, organizing exhibitions, and managing financial obligations to them.
Event Organization: Coordinating literary events and renting space to third parties for brand promotion and attracting new customers.
Requirements
Previous experience in managing a team and a commercial space;
Organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities;
Knowledge in financial management and inventory administration;
The ability to collaborate with artists and suppliers;
A results-oriented approach and attention to detail.
