Our client, specialized in furniture manufacturing and with a proven presence in the Moldovan furniture industry for several years, is seeking to fill the position of: Purchasing Manager.
Managing the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for furniture production;
Coordinating imports from countries such as Romania, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, etc., including negotiations with suppliers and monitoring the delivery process;
Developing and maintaining relationships with current suppliers, assessing their performance in terms of quality, cost, and reliability;
Searching for and evaluating new suppliers and alternatives for raw materials and supplies;
Analyzing market trends and monitoring price fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost savings and reductions;
Working closely with the production and design departments.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the furniture industry, for at least 2 years;
Strong knowledge of the import process and related customs legislation;
Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
The ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
Proficiency in Romanian and a foreign language (English, Russian);
Computer skills, including specific software for procurement management.
