Job description

Responsibilities

  • Managing the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for furniture production;

  • Coordinating imports from countries such as Romania, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, etc., including negotiations with suppliers and monitoring the delivery process;

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with current suppliers, assessing their performance in terms of quality, cost, and reliability;

  • Searching for and evaluating new suppliers and alternatives for raw materials and supplies;

  • Analyzing market trends and monitoring price fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost savings and reductions;

  • Working closely with the production and design departments.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the furniture industry, for at least 2 years;

  • Strong knowledge of the import process and related customs legislation;

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills;

  • The ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

  • Proficiency in Romanian and a foreign language (English, Russian);

  • Computer skills, including specific software for procurement management.
