The Center for Sociological Analysis and Investigation CIVIS is a non-governmental research center, founded in March 1997 in the Republic of Moldova. Studies conducted thus far have primarily employed sociological methods. At the same time, CIVIS Center has carried out campaigns for mass information and social mobilization. Most surveys developed by CIVIS are based on nationally representative, probabilistic, multi-stage samples. Additionally, CIVIS has conducted surveys based on local and sectorial samples.
CIVIS employees (sociologists, political scientists) are professionals with extensive experience in interdisciplinary research. Alongside these, CIVIS has a network of over 250 well-trained field operators covering all administrative-territorial units of the Republic of Moldova (with the exclusion of Transnistria). CIVIS Center is equipped with the necessary technical equipment and technologies for conducting complex sociological research. We also collaborate with consulting experts from various research fields to ensure the quality of the gathered and analyzed information fully meets the needs and expectations of our clients.
