The State Enterprise "Poşta Moldovei" was established on April 1, 1993, following the division of the postal communications sector from telecommunications. It is the national operator providing postal services and is represented by the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications. As the largest profile operator in Moldova, the enterprise offers a wide range of postal and financial services throughout the country, with a territorial network of 1146 post offices and agencies, 37 branches, offering postal services to citizens in 1527 localities of the country.
