Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering cost, transit time, and security.

• Arranging couriers and specialists for hand-carry services.

• Managing and keeping the clients updated with each step of the shipment.

• Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations, and other factors that could affect the logistics sector.

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:

• English and Italian level (B2) at least, to communicate effectively in an English and Italian-speaking environment;

• Previous experience in logistics is not required but would be a strong advantage;

• Good working knowledge of computer systems/applications; i. E. Microsoft Word, Excel;

• High attention to detail and multitasking;

• Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities;

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments within deadlines;

• Ability to understand and apply in practice a high volume of information.
