Will be responsible for supporting branches in organizing, managing, and continuing to monitor activities related to MVRT (Mobile Volunteer Response Teams);

Supports the DM Coordinator in developing monthly/quarterly and annual activity plans for the DM sector, including related to MVRT (including budget and timetable, if necessary);

Provides support to the DM Coordinator in managing risks associated with operational response, reducing climate disaster risks, migration and displacement, emergency needs assessment, stockpiles, and other relevant interventions within regular programs and emergency situations;

Assists in planning and organizing training courses for SCRM staff and MVRT team members;

In emergency/disaster situations provides technical support in all phases of MVRT intervention in the deployment area;

Under the guidance of the DM Coordinator, plans, organizes, monitors, and reports the distribution process of humanitarian aid;

Cooperates internally with all branches of the Central Office (Logistics, Finance, Health, Qualified First Aid, etc.) to ensure the proper organization of the entire DM sector;

Other duties arising from the specifics of the role.

Studies: Higher education is an asset, preferably in public administration, firefighting, civil protection, engineering, the military, or law.

Qualifications and personal skills:

At least 1 year of experience in civil protection, emergency response, or high-level disaster management;

Experience in project work (planning, organizing, assessing) is a plus;

Professional humanitarian sector experience is beneficial;

Advanced proficiency in Romanian and Russian (knowledge of English is an advantage);

A "B" category driver's license, with at least 3 years of practical driving experience;

Readiness to travel for assignments both domestically and abroad.
