Completed higher education in veterinary medicine (bachelor's degree or doctor of veterinary medicine);
Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and veterinary treatments;
Excellent communication skills – to interact effectively with animal owners;
Empathy and patience;
Knowledge of using medical equipment.
