Job description

Responsibilities

Training staff, recruiting and internships for new employees. Monitoring the work of bartenders in the bar in terms of service standards and performance. Working in the bar, knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and spirits. Creating technology cards, developing seasonal specials. Monthly reporting, conducting inventory, preparing documents related to cash transactions. Tracking the availability of drinks and products necessary for uninterrupted bar operation. Organizing and supervising staff during shifts, ensuring sales targets are met. Monitoring compliance with service quality standards in the café. Creating a cozy and hospitable atmosphere. Maintaining menu relevance, timely rotation/layout, making changes. Creating and maintaining instructional materials. Organizing trainings. Sourcing suppliers, complying with contractual obligations, controlling costs and markup. Selecting tableware.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a full-cycle restaurant for at least 1 year (experience in chain restaurants is welcomed);

  • Perfectionism: You are a true enthusiast, with a deep understanding of all bar processes and a desire to improve them.

  • Organizational skills: You are capable of effectively managing a team of employees, ensuring the growth and development of bartenders. You know how to work on quality and how to achieve results fairly, as well as how to successfully complete tasks assigned to you. You don't seek excuses, you achieve results.

  • Creative approach: You have a sense of style and taste to further develop the bar and impress guests with a special atmosphere. You are more than capable of finding new tableware, talking about distillates or industry trends.

  • Leadership qualities: You are not just a "Bar Manager," you are an inspirer and mentor for your team;

  • Responsibility: You know how to plan and forecast, as well as optimally utilize the bar's and restaurant's resources. You are willing to create a truly functioning budget and control its execution, not afraid to "cut costs" while understanding it should not affect quality.

  • Knowledge and ability to communicate service standards to employees;

  • PC skills at a user level; knowledge of Trio Bar program, Excel;

  • Love for your profession. You genuinely love your job.

  • Experience in opening new establishments would be a big plus.
